Compassionate No‑BS Coaching

Stop losing yourself. Start treating yourself like you matter.

Coaching for women who are tired of giving so much and still being taken for granted. You've spent so long putting everyone else's needs first that yours never get considered, and you feel guilty for even mentioning them.

You'll learn to stop putting yourself last, ask for what you need without apologizing, and build relationships where you feel cared for, appreciated, and loved.

Let's have a conversation →

Does this sound familiar?

01

You've stopped saying what you really think because you don't want a fight.

02

You say yes when you want to say no, then resent yourself for doing it.

03

You've started Googling things like "is this normal?" at 2am.

04

You can't remember the last time someone asked what you needed and really meant it.

05

You're so used to taking care of what everyone else wants that you're not even sure what you want anymore.

06

You've promised yourself that this time you won't back down. Then you find yourself worrying more about his reaction than what you needed to say.

You thought you were building a relationship based on mutual love

You have a good heart. When someone you love is struggling, you show up, listen, and put your own plans aside, because to you that's what love looks like. But when you're the one who needs comfort, the conversation turns back to him, and you're left wondering whether you're asking for too much or just asking wrong.

You've tried explaining, crying, waiting for the right moment, and making yourself smaller to keep the peace. Part of you still believes that if you loved him better or needed less, he would finally care for you the way you care for him. Loving someone shouldn't require you to abandon yourself.

Come home to yourself.

  • Walking on eggshells Saying what you mean
  • Saying yes and resenting it Saying no and feeling fine
  • Waiting to be noticed Asking for what you need
  • Fixing his disappointment Letting him have his feelings
  • Wondering if you're too much Knowing you're worth loving
  • Losing yourself Coming home to yourself

Picture telling him what you need in a calm, ordinary voice, without rehearsing it for three days first. He's disappointed, and you notice that you're still okay. You make plans that are about you, and the guilt that used to follow every small act of self-care has gone. You're as warm and generous as ever, but now it comes from a full place instead of an empty one, and you're no longer offering a watered-down version of yourself in the hope that you'll be easier to love.

Women who stopped losing themselves

Working with Doug helped me get out of stuck patterns and see long-standing problems in a completely new way. His calm, grounded presence made it easy to relax, reflect, and be honest, and our conversations often led to real breakthrough moments. Doug brings warmth, directness, and creativity in a way that genuinely makes a difference.

Before working with Doug, I thought the problem was my relationship with my boyfriend. What I discovered was that there were really two relationships that needed healing: the one with him, and the one with myself. As I changed the way I related to myself, my relationship with my boyfriend began to change too. Doug helped me see this with clarity and compassion, and that shift changed everything.
Mary L., Denver
After working with Doug, I feel less stressed, more present, and more grounded in my own needs. After years of people-pleasing, I've learned to say no, make room for myself, and feel happier overall.
